Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to khuetran.com (the "Site"), operated by Khuê Trần (the "Provider", "we", "us"), based in Vietnam. By accessing this Site or using any tool published under this domain — including the KTB Post content publishing tool ("Service") — you ("Creator", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Service.
2. Description of the Service
KTB Post is a content management tool that enables creators to upload and publish branded video content to their social media accounts via official Content Posting APIs. The current implementation integrates with TikTok; additional platforms (Instagram, YouTube Shorts) are on the roadmap. Capabilities include:
- Authenticating the Creator's TikTok account via TikTok's official Login Kit (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE).
- Reading basic profile metadata of the authenticated account (display name, open ID, avatar) to confirm the target account.
- Uploading pre-rendered MP4 video files to TikTok via the Content Posting API.
- Publishing video content directly to the Creator's TikTok feed with caption and privacy settings.
The Service is currently distributed as a CLI installable on the Creator's own machine. Each Creator authenticates their own TikTok account through TikTok's authorization dialog and runs the tool locally. The Provider does not operate a hosted, multi-tenant version at this time.
3. Eligibility
Users of the Service must be at least 18 years old, must own (or be authorized to manage) the TikTok account they connect, and must comply with TikTok's Terms of Service, Developer Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site or the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or any other jurisdiction.
- Publish content that infringes intellectual property, defames, harasses, or harms others.
- Distribute malware, spam, or any content prohibited by TikTok's Community Guidelines.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse TikTok's APIs through this Service.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation with TikTok, the Provider, or any other party.
5. TikTok Integration
The Service uses TikTok for Developers APIs (Login Kit, Display API, Content Posting API) under the official OAuth 2.0 flow with PKCE/S256 per Login Kit Desktop specification.
5.1 Scopes requested. The Service requests only the following three scopes:
user.info.basic— to identify the authenticated TikTok account (open_id,display_name).video.upload— to upload an MP4 file binary to TikTok via the Content Posting API.video.publish— to publish the uploaded video directly to the authenticated account's feed (Direct Post).
5.2 Data handling. OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and any session data returned by TikTok are stored only in the Creator's local environment (filesystem on the Creator's own machine). They are never transmitted to or stored on any third-party server controlled by the Provider. Tokens are short-lived; refresh tokens are kept solely to renew expired access tokens.
5.3 Compliance with TikTok policies. All use of TikTok APIs through the Service complies with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Content Sharing Guidelines, and the Login Kit best practices. The Service does not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the TikTok APIs. The Service does not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling third parties, or any commercial resale.
5.4 No affiliation with TikTok. The Service is an independent personal tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Pte. Ltd. or any of its subsidiaries. References to "TikTok" are used solely to identify the platform being integrated.
6. Intellectual Property
All content published through the Service to TikTok is owned by the Creator (or licensed to them) — the Provider claims no ownership over Creator content. The Site's source code, branding, copy, and design are © 2026 Khuê Trần. The TikTok name and logo are trademarks of TikTok Pte. Ltd.
7. Disclaimers
The Site and the Service are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of metadata, or successful publication to TikTok. TikTok may reject, remove, or restrict content at its sole discretion under its own policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or the Service, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of TikTok account access.
9. Termination
The Provider may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to violation of these Terms or TikTok's developer policies.
10. Governing Law and Compliance
Governing Law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any dispute arising from or related to the Site or the Service shall be resolved by the competent courts of Vietnam.
Regulatory Compliance. The Site and the Service comply with applicable Vietnamese law, including but not limited to: (a) Cybersecurity Law No. 24/2018/QH14 dated June 12, 2018; (b) Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP dated April 17, 2023 on the protection of personal data; (c) Law on E-Transactions No. 20/2023/QH15 dated June 22, 2023; and (d) other applicable regulations issued by the Government of Vietnam, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Public Security.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site or the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
