These terms govern your use of khuetran.com (the “site”) and any advisory engagement you book with Khue Tran (the “advisor,” “I,” or “me”). By using the site or engaging me, you agree to these terms.
1. Site content
Content on khuetran.com is published for educational and informational purposes. It reflects my opinions and operating experience at the time of writing. It is not professional financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
I make reasonable effort to keep content accurate and current. I do not warrant that any specific result described will apply to your business. Ecommerce conditions change quickly; what worked for one brand may not work for another.
2. Advisory engagements
Advisory engagements (Audit, 90-day Sprint, Fractional Advisor) are governed by a separate written agreement signed before work begins. The terms on this page apply to your use of this site and to any pre-engagement conversation (free 30-minute calls, email exchanges, scoping discussions).
A free pre-engagement call does not create an advisory relationship. No binding commitment exists until both parties sign an engagement letter.
3. Intellectual property
All site content (text, images, code, design) is owned by Khue Tran unless attributed otherwise. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. You may not republish, repackage, or redistribute substantial portions without written permission.
Tools I have built (Shortcraft, Prompta, Tella, Briefa, Lingora) are separately licensed. Visit each tool’s page for its specific terms.
4. Conflicts of interest
I operate three US wholesale nail supply brands (DTK, ND, LAVIS). I do not accept advisory engagements with brands that compete directly with mine in the nail supply niche. If you are unsure whether your business overlaps, ask before booking a call. I will tell you up front and refer you elsewhere if there is a conflict.
5. Confidentiality
Anything you share with me during a free pre-engagement call or paid engagement is treated as confidential. I do not publish client data, screenshots, or examples without explicit written consent. Case studies on this site reference only my own brands (DTK, ND, LAVIS) by name.
6. Payments and refunds
Payment terms for paid engagements are stated in the engagement letter. Audit ($2,500) and Sprint ($10,000) are flat-fee, payable in advance. Fractional Advisor retainer ($6,000/month) is billed at the start of each month.
If you cancel within 24 hours of starting an Audit, you receive a 100% refund. After Audit work has begun, refunds are pro-rata based on percent complete. Sprint and Advisor engagements have a 14-day satisfaction window during which you can cancel with a 50% refund of fees paid for unused time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, my total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site or any pre-engagement conversation is limited to $100. Paid engagements have a separate liability cap stated in the engagement letter, typically the fees paid for the engagement.
I am not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages (including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption) regardless of cause.
8. No guarantees
I do not guarantee specific revenue, ROAS, ranking, or traffic outcomes. Ecommerce results depend on factors outside any advisor’s control, including market conditions, competitor activity, platform algorithm changes, and your own operational execution. Anyone in this industry promising guaranteed numbers is either uninformed or dishonest.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, where I am based. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation will be referred to the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) under its rules.
If you are based in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws apply to the extent they cannot be waived.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the last material change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For active paid engagements, your signed engagement letter governs; this page does not retroactively change it.
